Yeah if a Jew killed Jesus it would have been a strangling. Or a hanging. Typical Roman Punishment was Crucifixion for that time. However history has shown that Potious Pilate was a player of the masses. He was tired of open conflict with the Jews and sympathized overly so. His wife was a softer heart and had previously known to have been one of the many Romans who had been following Jesus and his Apostles.

Although I`m not admitting belief in the man known as Jesus...If he did exist, he was ironically enough Jewish.Maybe he just thought the Jewish guy was attacking Christmas!
