u can make alot of things with an old USB cable... all u need to know is that the red wire in the cable is 5volts and the black is ground... with that... u can utilize this 5volts to power alot of digital devices u can design...power a micro controller...power a motor...or some lights... a fan...heaters or coolers...just make sure u regulate the voltage if your device doesn`t use 5volts... the green and white wires are for data transfers... if u can program... u can use the green and white wires to do some programing for micro controllers

They do make lamps that are made up of thousands of LEDs to grow shit hydroponically ... and supposedly they are the best, they produce a great amount of light and do not use that much power, producing little to no heat

the down side is that they are expensive as all fucking hell, and the increased power bill that comes along with a regular HPS light kinda balances things

Sounds like a great idea, but for some reason having a bottle filled with soil and a squished up plant doesn`t seem too aesthetic. I think I`ll just buy a plastic plant! (Unless of course your growing something more for recreational use) :)

The LED lights for growing marijuana won`t be cheaper, as the decreased power cost will be canceled out by the cost of the LED`s. However, if you`re growing in America police are often tipped off by spikes in your electricity usage or abnormally high usage. Plus they give off virtually no heat. I wouldn`t be surprised if serious growers haven`t caught on to LED already.

^^They already have caught on. If you guys do decide to start your own grow ops make sure you use a carbon filter for the air in your grow room.
