Yeah, wearing silly towels on one`s head will lead to crude remarks. It`s just silly wearing something that has no functionality whatsoever just because you believe in an imaginary friend who likes to tell you what to do. Now I`m not being biased, I`m just taking a side and not pretending to be self righteous by agreeing what this video`s trying to say. I also hate overdressed emos, vividly colored clothed metrosexuals, people who wear their pants below their anus hole, people who wear multiple collars/hats, shades when it`s not even sunny, people who loudly chew bubblegum, people who loudly chew bubblegum while popping bubbles, people who start chatting up the clerk while there`s a line behind them...

^As a Muslim myself, I have to say that is the most retarded comment I have ever heard. What do you care what I wear, smoke, eat, drink, fuck or whatever it is I do with my life as long as it does not disturb you or anyone else?

That, my friend, is priceless. I have never, in my mere 30 years or so on this planet, stumbled into such bullshit.

"I`m not being biased, I`m just taking a side" .... ?! Check your fuckin dictionary mate. What the hell do you think biased means?

And another question, what the fuck is an anus hole? Again, dictionary time.

This was an interesting experiment because it forces people to agree (and apathy in this case = agreement), or disagree.

Personally, I don`t know how I`d act if this happened in front of me. I`d like to think I`d try and put the staff member in his place, but I`d probably more likely walk out and spread the word that the staff of the place are vile.

There`s judgment and then there is prejudice. I think most muslim clothing looks retarded. Same goes for Jewish clothing and others (like any other type of unnecessary uniform). I make jokes about islamic ninja outfits all the time. But I wouldn`t assume someone is a terrorist, a bad person of whatever just because they wear them. I don`t get pissed off at someone`s personal choices but I will find the absurdity and hilarity for them.

Equality for all I say, and that does not exclude criticism. Muslims deserve the same treatment as anyone else, and if they do something stupid for the sake of their culture, imo they should be made fun of, just like everyone else.

If it`s okay to make fun of mormons and scientologists, then muslims too right? I think it comes down to intent. There is joking and there is victimization. As long as your jokes are backed up by logic and don`t rely on stereotypes then you`re most likely one of the good guys :)

gruel: If you wear funny clothes, I will point it out. At the same time, I would defend your right to do so unless it impaired your abilities and put lives at risk. I hope you would do the same for me!

biased towards an entire people
taking a side on the situation presented in this video, i.e. clothing

there really isn`t any confusion in my argument

Also, gruel, it bothers me when you take offense because I`m not in agreement with your style of clothing. I express my dislike of wearing a cloth for no reason, an action in the ilk of wearing a cap backwards, and you immediately assume I`m on a personal crusade against people. Sorry for not having the same opinion as you. I also dislike child pornography, it doesn`t affect me, and also what child molesters eat, drink, smoke or wear is of no concern to me. It bothers me what they fuck, though. Some things are just wrong and have no purpose whatsoever, LIKE WEARING A PIECE OF CLOTH BECAUSE YOUR IMAGINARY FRIEND TOLD YOU TO AND EXPECTING OTHER PEOPLE TO RESPECT YOU FOR THAT. What`s the difference between that and cutting your wrists and dieing your hair black just because you lost your iPod?

^the reason for the scarf is to protect the modesty of women. I understand that in the US and many other countries hair isn`t seen as something private, however in Islam it is important that woment aren`t seen as sex symbols and therefore they should have 100% modesty. Of course it doesn`t have to be worn in the privacy of their own homes.

ignorant comments aside, this is my favorite one of these "what would you do" videos. People really do fall into one of the two categorizes of anti-Muslim or offended by anti-Muslims. There really is no middle ground.

Why did the white girl started crying, didnt her parents teach her crying doest solve anything?
@gruel people give two cents because they have the right of disklinking things that are out of norm in their society. example a man cross dressing in a holy city (extreme scenario)
On aside note: I really hate summer, because some punks(males) think its okay to not wear shirts in public, so does that make me a bigot?
P.S:cowboys rule especially the wannabe`s.

Well I guess everyone has a point here. I hate it when fat chicks wear short skirts because it hurts me both mentally and physically, thus it affects me.

Ok, first of all, the burka or "the towel" is not required by any law of the muslim religion. In turkey, they outlawed the burka in workplaces. The country is 90% muslim, and next term the same government got voted in.
Second, 100% of muslims live by this rule. You are your highest priority. For example, your muslim and your house is on fire, you get out first, then you start to worry about spouse and children.
I dont care what direction you face when you pray, i dont care what you think you need to wear, i dont care you dont eat the most declious food on the earth. JUST LEARN SOME FUCKING HUMANITY. Dont agree with me, then go fuck yourself.
Btw new tourist slogan "Gaza strip, only a stones throw away."

if i may add that in no way does this depict all of america. it seems that by the way that these individuals within the show are speaking that they prose to a certain area known as "the Bible Belt" not to generalize and say that all individuals from this area hold the same values, but many stick to their core beliefs and traditions. I myself live in Ca. and see an extremely wide array of races, religions, and beliefs. And although there are racists and extremists every where, i tend to see individuals do the right thing when circumstances such as this one arrive.

watched the entire vid and noticed it was in Texas x)

read A Thousand Splendid Suns or Kite Runner. Might not be exactly the same but if you view them from a wider perspective, they will appeal to all genders, races, ethnicities, religions, beliefs, countries, continents.... the whole world.

I think some statistics prove that a large percent of America is under-educated or ignorant... I wasn`t really surprised at the people`s reactions in the video.
But notice how the younger people fight for the muslim girl. Personally I think most parts of this country are stepping in the right direction. People like the old guy with the son in the army raise children in an admirable way. Kudos to him.

Racism is the logic of fools. There are evil and stupid people of all colours, and systems of belief. It does not matter what colour Visreel`s skin is, he`s evil and stupid. Even as an Atheist i respect people`s right to believe in whatever they want.
