Going into extra time, Ireland give away a penalty and Wales choose to kick for goal for 3 points for the win. Nail-biting stuff only hours old. If your in Dublin tomorrow were all going for a drink!!

^ Six Nations Rugby Union. Very popular in Ireland, Wales, England, France, Scotland, and Italy. One of the biggest events after World Cup Rugby. More here "Wales 15 Ireland 17. They have won their second Grand Slam, 61 years after the first."

A grand slam is when you beat every opponent - which means a total of five games played home and away. (I come from England, but well done Ireland. About fucking time.)

^ I hastened to point out to my welsh mate that Phil Godman made exactly the same kick for Scotland the game before.

It was a knock on by the Irish fella - he accidentally pushed the ball forwards with his hand. If the ball last touches your hand it has to land behind you (from the perspective of the field, not the player). Wales had several options and they chose to go for the kick - it was a long one but worth the shot.

If they hadn`t gone for that they would have had to battle through the Irish defence, which risks a lot. If they in any way gave control of the ball to the Irish it immediately would have been knocked into touch and the game would be over.

^ Knock on`s reward a scrum, not a penalty.

A ruck had formed and the irish player used his hands. Hence the ref doing a rakeing gesture.

That rewards a penalty.

When they showed Jones whole reaction watching the ball after his kick, it was painful to watch; the pale fright on his face at the moment he struck the ball, almost certain he was short, to soul crushing disappointment when it fell 1 meter under the sticks.

I was a neutral viewer, but it was nail biting stuff. Good game.

^Yeah. I forgot. Americans -it`s a big fucking continent - (USA citizens is what you meant to say. -Mexico: Estupido pero. Canada: Aye?) are not the people responsible for the large audience ($$$) of MMA, UFC, NHL, NFL, NBA, FYM (Fuck Your Mother), etc.
Thanks economy. Fuck USA? Um.... Okay. Pussy this DR. RideMyAmerican(I mean USA)dick.

^ My bad Funberg, you`re absolutely right about the scrum. I just did a little research though and it seems the penalty was awarding for being offside, not for the knock on or the hands. How many things can he do wrong in one action, eh?

^^^ Spiked Punch... Is there such a thing as Mexican football? Do people from fucking Guatemala have a habit of inventing their own shit versions of sports? No? Then can we take it as read that I`m talking about the part of America that does that? KAY? The part responsible for (for instance) the term AMERICAN FOOTBALL. ... KAY?

Wait... so are you defending the rest of the Americas by saying "Hey, if you`re going to disrespect the USA, you`d sure as hell better disrespect everyone else in the western hemisphere!"

Well, if you insist... Fuck you too.
