this is a cool test and right in most cases but this man has clearly gotten used to being high, if he wasnt used to blazing this would be more interesting and the results would probably vary. there is no way you can say that smoking pot makes you a "better driver". driving while under the influence of anything is probably worse because your judgment isn`t quite as good. you might be more nervous and drive more tentatively but you can also zone out or have a hard time comprehending EVERYTHING thats going on around you.


ALSO this dude is on the spot when hes driving because he has someone judging his every move in the car with him. if he was high by himself driving and not being carefully watched he might not be driving so carefully.

the more inexperienced you are smoking weed the slower your going to drive. Unlike alcohol that works the other way around

Totally disagree HAIRYANIMAL. I havn`t smoked weed in years, but when i did and happened to get behind the weel of a car I was a great driver. I was more cautious and obeyed the rules of the road like no other.
Honestly most sobar women with a license couldn`t pass the driving test in this video. female drivers are more of a hazard then male drivers on dope.

I`ve been driving for years now under the influence of Pot, and I know for fact that I drive much better when I`m stoned !
WHY??
Because I drive slower than usual (slower=safer)
I tend to concentrate more on the road, traffic signals, and other cars.
And finally (and most importantly), I never EVER get road rage.


If there is one thing I`m sure of, it`s that the world would be a MUCH better place if everyone smoked pot.
(not including children of course)

I used to work for a funiture moving company and both truck drivers we had would smoke a bowl in the morning right before we left to go do a job or would wait till we loaded up the truck and was on the road to light up.

They both drove the truck better than me, I have road rage....MOVE MOTHER FUCKERS!

Last time this was posted here, I said this same thing...

Most people I know really enjoy driving high because they honestly drive a lot better. Weed doesn`t cause your concerntration to wander with these sorts of things, in fact it can make a person borderline obsessive at doing a "perfect" drive. You could try talk to the driver but they won`t respond much. They`re too busy having fun trying to take perfect unadjusted lines through corners, seeing how far and how well they can read the traffic up ahead, and knowing exactly what`s going on around them. They`ll pick things up that you simply would never notice, also their reaction times and emergency escape routes are calculated and acted on insanely fast.

Super high though? Big difference. It`s like riding with someony tipsy.

They have a test they do in BC Canada right now to determine if you are stoned when you drive. Mouth swab, several weeks in a lab, and then they can tell if you have smoked within so many hours of driving. They pretty much only use it if you are being a shit head though. I have never had to get tested( thankfully! because Ismoke a lot of weed when I work)
