Actually this is about Juarez Mexico close to El Paso, Tx. Drug cartel has always been a problem down in Northern Mexico. Now there is a power struggle between the cartel and the feds and honestly the feds are losing. Mexican President is trying to downplay this but the feds have really very little authority there right now. The governor of Chihuahua was kidnapped by one of the cartels recently. The recent head`s of the police have been killed or resigned. Its anarchy out there right now.

Have seen the border patrol and national guard here in the USA along the border start to increase their numbers like they getting ready for something. So far none of this has spilled over the border into Texas or New Mexico yet but guess they getting ready in case it does, or if the get sent into Mexico to try and get control of the region again.

Pretty sad used to go across the border into Juarez to shop and visit some of the restaurants but not now. Been too many shootings in the market places and if the cartel wants to kill someone they have no problem having a gun fight in a restaurant killing innocents people just to get the person they`re after.

Mexican government is in denial about Juarez, but right now they are not in control of the city.
