Rocky Marciano

"Rocky Marciano (1923–1969), was the heavyweight champion of the world from 1952 to 1956. Marciano, with forty-three knockouts to his credit (87.8% knockout rate), remains the only heavyweight champion in boxing history to retire having won every fight in his professional career. He was an Italian-American, born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts to Pierino Marchegiano and Pasqualina Picciuto. Both of his parents were immigrants from Italy." Tribute by comichero88. But he died at such a young age (45). Wiki says he died in a plane crash and his wife died five years later at the age of 46.

Someone really needs to create that time machine already. I would love to see Mohammad Ali and this guy go at it. I know Ali lost 5 fights in his career but ultimately won more than Rocky. I bet Ali could stomp him alone with his shit talking.

Marciano was epic man, what a champion! Him and sugar ray robbinson were un-fucking-real fighters. You can tell the difference between punching stype then/now. Fighters can`t generally generate the same type of power now. Due to the diff`s in training.
