This parrot can be found in Australia, eastern Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. Its habitat is rainforest, coastal bush and woodland areas.

San Diego Wild Animal Park has a whole bunch of them (must be 50+) in a huge cage. You can go in with some sugar water and they fly right over to drink it and land right on you. I mean it`s literally like this: http://www.entersandiego.com/images/photos/wap_8_med.jpg

Then, when you`re out of sugar water, they take off and poop all over you.

Where I live (south east Queensland) if you put out some bread covered in sugar in a bowl of water, in about 20 min you get at least fifty of them trying to eat it and after another 20 min there all gone. Fun to watch.
