Yeah, it sounded like a great idea, but this was back in 2003. I googled Bill Gross and found out that this fabulous idea went absolutely NOWHERE!! I also found out that he`s is a little bit of a quack, though I`ve seen a lot worse.

As a former mechanical designer, I was asking myself quite a few questions during his presentation. Not everything he said was adding up, especially in regard to initial costs and most especially the cost of maintenance. I`d have been real surprised if one of those units would have even lasted the five years he claimed it would take to recupe the cost.

I think he said 5 years was his goal currently, they stat at 50 years but I`m highly skeptical, any of these new energy ideas seem to be more feel good ideas and any basic logic tells you how inefficient and impractical they are at both >.>
