hmmm, no sound in outerspace? you are loonie. Sure there`s no noise whatsoever. That`s why we have microphones pointed at the sky to listen to the remaining noise leftover from the big bang. Because there is no sound...

PS - outer space isn`t a perfect vacuum. There`s particles floating all around out there for noise to vibrate. But of course it will dissipate fast. Still don`t be so quick to judge sound we can`t hear in space, there are plenty of rules to break along the way to new discoveries. One being, black holes make noise.

Electromagnetic and gravitational waves are not sound just because they are waves.

Schumann cavity resonances are not sound waves either.

What this guy is basically saying is... God`s word/voice resonated throughout the universe to form galaxies and solar systems. He claims galaxies are still held together today by sound, which is false.

^Assmaster- We do not point microphones into space because we cannot detect any sound from it. If it dissipates quickly then nothing is going to reach us so there`s no point. You`re talking about microwave radiation, which is detected by telescopes, not microphones. There is no actual remaining sound left from the big bang for us to detect with a microphone on Earth.

@Assmaster: "Noise" is only an unclean signal, or background radiation... REAL scientists use the word `noise` to describe the seemingly random and scattered x-ray radiation that is bouncing around the cosmos, just like visible light bouncing off the moon. They are using satellite dishes to capture this `noise` and make images of the universe way back in the past because the `noise` has been bouncing around for so long.

Also, you are correct about space not being a perfect vacuum AS A WHOLE, at every individual moment in time though, 99.999999999999999% of space has absolutely NOTHING in it... the very little bit of matter that IS there is moving around at near the speed fo light, so scientists make the assumption that space is not a perfect vacuum because it really helps simplify the equations.

Now, everyone forget what this kook said and watch an Attenborough flick.

Somewhat interesting but contains very little facts. At the very least, every scientists in this day and age knows the galaxies are NOT held together in a way he described. It is held together by its own gravitational force and other 85% of the force we have not discovered yet (for the gravity force alone is just too little for the galaxy to hold together), which we call Dark Matters.

This is why some scientists went as far as introducing idea of string theory to try to explain it. It may or may not be the correct theory but it most certainly is more plausible than what this video presented. The universe is just not that simple.

I don`t mean to take a big crap on this guy, I just wanted to point out the facts. The video seem rather out dated, perhaps this concept of universe probably was adopted back when Ether was also adopted as well. And we all know what become of Ether.
