^yeah all the footage on there was from BBC Planet Earth....but instead of David Attenborough narrating it , it was Jean-Luc Picard.

This is not a rip-off or re-release, Planet Earth was filmed for the purpose of releasing on both the big screen and TV. If it weren`t for the big movie budget, Planet Earth would not have been as impressive as it is.

Apparently this film has been out in Europe since 2007 & Patrick Stewart is only narrating the UK version...North American version will have James Earl Jones in place of Stewart. Also for everyone crying about a Planet Earth rip off by Disney...BBC actually created this film, Disney had nothing to do with its production. Disney is just distributing it in North and Latin America.

You all don`t know what you`re talking about. I`ve seen Planet Earth, Blue Planet and all the David Attenborough documentaries and this is NOT footage from them. I saw this trailer before The International. Looks very cool.

^am i alone in thinking this will be pretty awesome? I live in America and I`m a stranger to the BBC series. I hope this gets released in theaters. You guys may take it for granted, but i can think of so many people who could make good use of this movie.
