This popularized astrology is utterly bullballs. If you are pisces: you will do something interesting today. If you are twins: you will meet a stranger today. They keep these `predictions` as vague as possible so the maximum amount of people wil experience it. If people believe in astrology because of experiencing such a `predicted event`, then maybe church, scientology and my all-time favourite, the shotgun, might be something for them.

Astrology is an ancient form of divination that has a lot of roots in numerology and The Cabala. Your reading goes from the exact time of day you were born and shows trends in time, more than "will you meet Mr. Right?" at you local New-Age bookstore.
"Your Daily Horoscope" is a load of shit.

I wouldn`t base all of my future actions I would take on an astrology predictment. Though, I do believe astrology provides another alternative to the picture which someone wouldn`t see before. Instead of just choosing between path A or B astrology introduces C to the picture.

yeah, fourteen constellations in the zodiac? Ive done a fair amount of research in astronomy and cosmetology and have never heard of another constellation in the zodiac. I`m not saying it don`t exist, but it is not on the ancient cross of the zodiac. The fact that the sun spends more time in Ophiuchus than in Scorpio is odd considering it isn`t even mentioned in astrology today.

You know you can find liars and sharlatins in every profession, no other practice attracts them more than astrology. But to pick the crooks out and say the whole thing is a load of crap is not wise IMO. The average person doesnt understand Astrology so it makes us easy pickings for people who want to take advantage of us.

Neil is a smart guy, but seems to me a little ignorant sometimes from what I have seen of him.

Umm... I`m sorry, what am I missing? I`ve known about Ophiuchus for many years and that it`s the 13th sign. But what`s the 14th then? There are the 12 normal signs plus Ophiuchus... that`s not 14.

And yes Hannsimus, the sun spends more than twice the time in Ophiuchus than in Scorpius... It`s just a fact
