Not to suggest I`m an engineer or anything, but I don`t think you need a factory to make an experimental plane. You can probably have the parts made at specialty metal formers or composite makers that already exist. You`d only make them in a factory if you were going to produce them on a larger scale (but you`d probably use a factory that already exists). I`m sure that is an over-simplification, but I think this guy was really off on the factory talk. Besides, I doubt you can hide a factory...they spew pollutants into the air and water...and generate haz waste. That is all public info. Good video otherwise though, although I agree on the patch comment ^#2

I think he is referring more the the assembly location and hangers of these projects rather than where their parts are manufactured. As for polutants... come on it`s not like they are trying to hide a secret coal factory.
