Okay so all of you are gold farming and not using any survival skills to produce a new set of crops or any type of good to make money back. I can say that about every person that complained about gold. Even the old people...can;t you sew or cook or do shit? They act like they cannot provide goods and services to each other in barter form....they act like gold mining is the only way to survive. The young people basically refuse to take care of the elders or even themselves as you can see they would rather mine for gold than do something for long term survival. Fuck them....that shits not even close to logical.

To go farming you need water, seed, materials such as shovel and rake, and some time to wait until it´s ready to harvest. Which means you need money or, in this case, gold...Thats why they go for gold in first place.

Sorry for them that Zimbabwe has no Oil, so no one is interessted in clearing out Mugabe...

^Tokentiki: You are full of it. You go saying they should just go around try to grow crops and stuffs. Do you have any idea of how subsistence culture work? If they start planting now, the time for harvest won`t come before a while and there are not guaranties that anything will come out of the ground, also the time to start setting up new crops may already be gone so in the end you still have to find a solution for the short term. You saw people on the field so it`s not exactly like they are not doing anything. Don`t even talk about sending them seeds so that they can start something, pretty much everything sold in the US is engineered so that you`ll have to go get more from the supplier the following year. So you may spit on them for choosing gold for food over something that is totally uncertain, I`m sorry but you are the one you is not logical. Logic is subjective, you are not in their situation.
Now badmouthing them because they do not take the arms and go get that Mugabe bastard out of his palace would make more sense but again, it`s not the US. You don`t just wake up one day and go buy a gun in a shop. Not to forget that there are still idiots that supports him so in the end you would probably end up with a civil war. IMHO he is a bigger threat to his people than Saddam Hussein ever was, and it`s the kind of situation where the US should act, but apparently nobody cares so...
Things are not as simple as they look.

This is really quite sad that the local economy is no longer using its own national currency. Worse yet is that in western culture an oz of weed is worth more then an oz of gold but out demand system is much different. This atrocity is fully solvable too if only the UN or Roman Catholic church system would take the billions of dollars they have and invest in factories for needed basic goods and export routes in these countries. But that would imply practicing what they are preaching and heaven forbid any church from doing that.

dont sale it. its not time yet. hold on to it. maybe rappers with there $80,000 chains are the smart ones. because if you try and leave this country with 80,000 in cash there will be question not if you have it aound your neck. just a thought.
