Never caught on because the edges on those fins would wear down extremly quickly.. also it has almost no footprint on the ground therefore no grip therefore no offraod capabilities there are vehicles out there that do multiple jobs like this thing far better.

It`s like a steam powered pencil sharpener there are far more effieceint ways than using something like this.

I remember my granfather had a steam powered pencil sharpener. It worked with the steam coming out of the hole in the tea kettle. I`ll see if I can dig up a picture.
