Nobody wants to be in the streets selling drugs. But even if it`s againts everything I believe, if I`m pushed to the limit of survival... I would.

Thinking that guns are the enemy is naive; try to find who in the chain is responsible is just stupid and a waste of time.

Cut the need to go in the streets to survive. Invest massively in education to give people opportunities and hope, give money to social care so people won`t turn to violence to survive and free violence shall just stop. And with time(A LOT), policies to actualy let anyone reach true happiness... and guns will just disappear from the culture and from the hands of people.

Well I`m from canada and we do just fine with out em. Simple statistics, we have a fraction of gun related assaults. Uhh, I`m going to go play hockey now Eh and shoot a beaver, My point should be clear.

That nails it, where this whole trash video failed. I agree with the gun dealer who says that people kill people. Desperate people. Given the opportunity to prosper and survive peacefully, people will work hard and do good. But America is a nation driven by the principals of unbounded greed at any cost, championing the "winners", and spitting on the loosers.

I`m sure that you can draw statistics to prove that access to good schooling, including college, living in a stable town, and having opportunities for work, constitute a 99.9% prevention of crime, murder, problem drug use, etc..

If that`s not the obvious solution to the "gun violence epidemic", then I don`t know what is. But we will never get there while 10% of the richest rule everything, and fight to keep taking 90% of all the profits of our society for themselves.

Is it any coincidence that the places that have the highest restrictions on people owning guns, also have the highest rates of violent crime and deaths related to shootings?

Also, if people want to keep accidents from happening put your guns in lockers, put locks on the trigger, and don`t hand little Johnny a loaded glock to play with. A little education and fucking COMMON SENSE sounds a hell of a lot better than trying to ban guns outright because they are "evil".

tl;dr:
Guns aren`t evil, people are just stupid. Educate the people.

but seriously, why dont you just do like us in canada, allow you to only have hunting rifle and such, which you still need a permit to obtain and buy ammo, and you have to store it in a locked storage container.

think about it, if someone really want to shoot another person, he/she WILL find a way to do so, and if not he/she`s gonna use a knife instead...

we have to eliminate the cause of violence, not it`s means.

^@Daver because the second amendment & posse comitatus were written so that American citizens can defend themselves against their government. A problem that Canadian citizens share... anybody else remember the video of Canadian police infiltrating a peaceful Canadian protest and trying to incite violence so that they could justify using violence against their citizens... yeah.
