Stephen King's IT - Pennywise the Clown

Coulrophobia is an abnormal or exaggerated fear of clowns. It is not uncommon among children, but is also sometimes found in teenagers and adults as well. Sufferers sometimes acquire a fear of clowns after having a bad experience with one personally, or seeing a sinister portrayal of one in the media.

Man Tim Currey and his "floats" lines were creepy.

This movie needs a remake though, the special effects at the end took away from the movie.

Pennywise, you motherfucker... I still can`t see a clown without feeling uneasy >_<

I also think this needs a remake, but also think it won`t have the same impact.

BTW, for some reason, that scene with the photo album scared the shit out of me back then. If i remember well, there is another scene with the album but inside a house.

The SciFi channel was supposedly doing a remake of It but that was over 2 yrs ago.

Ahh memories, I saw this when I was about 8 and it scared me shitless. Looking back on it now does anyone else think Pennywise`s voice is suprisingly un freaky? Tim Curry is fantastic in the role, the look is perfect, his movement and body language is terrifying but his voice just seems too normal. Although perhaps giving it a dodgy voice would have made it too campy (shrugs).
