holy crap man i never knew that before, well, i was really young when the jetsons were still on, but i never did wonder why the buildings were like that in the sky. i wouldn`t be suprised if it was like rising water levels or something shown somewhere in the movie or series. did they ever show what ground level is like?

Holy crap, man...it was just a fucking cartoon!!! The buildings were like that because it looked futuristic and cool. PERIOD. So the writers of "The Movie" decided to put a politically-correct spin on it...BFD.

You turds have really have been brainwashed by the eco tree-hugging cabal that infests our educational system. Air pollution in the western world has decreased significantly since the Jetsons first aired...but it`s not like you guys would ever take the time to look up the real facts.
