Bad news, the Black Freighter comic won't be included in the Watchmen movie. The good news, however, is it will be released after the movie as an animated DVD film narrated by King Leonidas.

I saw the "PG" before I saw the "R" and was like wtf? Then I read the fine print. The PG is for "Under the Hood," also on the disc.

under the hood was a big par of the comic as were all the artifacts at the end of the chapters. I don` think the movie will be as good as the book was.

^ Anyone who thinks the movie will be as good as the book will be disappointed. Its just not possible. I`ll just go in expecting a relatively innovative, visually impressive hollywood comic book movie. Seeing the trailers, I`d say thats a realistic expectation, and anything beyond that will be a nice surprise.

I don`t think it is bad news that it was not included in the theatrical release. It would drag an already long movie.

About being as good as the book, I also say it wont be, specially after watching some clips where the acting is weird (as in reciting the lines), but I still have hopes it will be entertaining.

Zack Snyder, you better deliver or you will have to invest more on bodyguards and stuff haha

Be glad somebody is making a movie after the comic book in the first place mates.
