I read a statistic about our typical January rainfall. Apparently we got just 0.2mm of rain or our normal 42mm.

180+ dead. 1000+ homes destroyed. Compleet suburbs just gone.

Last night it was 66 people dead and they still havent gone through all the affected areas checking for bodies. Its the most horrific natural disaster in Australian history and it looks like its just going too get worse in the coming days. Any ausies reading this, have a heart and give what you can to the Red Cross fir appeal 1800 811 700, nearly all of us can afford too give something. Go without your smokes or your beers this week, these people need it alot more than you do right now.

Despite everyone dying, it`s kind of funny cuz up north we have entire towns flooded, houses gone, places inaccessable for over a week, etc. South part of the country is a fucking inferno. Cyclones are still hovering around the tropics. People are dropping dead from heat exhaustion in major cities. And to put the cherry on top, another bloke got sent to ICU after a shark attack at a popular beach yesterday. We`re all just kinda sitting here waiting to see what mother fucking nature is going to slog us with next.

You gotta be tough to live here during summer time.

edit: Oh yeah, I forgot the mosquito virus plaguing QLD and NT that`s hospitalising and killing people, spreading further and further south :D
