And what was Bush`s response to "Do you regret and past mistakes you have made?" The answer was "no, I dont think I have made any mistakes". The only bad thing about Obama is how he made it seem that he would lighten up on the nazi drug war, yet just approved a bill that would give millions of dollars to help fund the D.E.A. I pray he doesnt become a Ronny Reagan.

^ alifeva1 is an honest guy, but his stated lack of concern for the whole issue of murderous and criminal conduct of our leaders would be sad if it were true. Which it`s not, coming from him.

It would be kind of a "well I got mine" attitude, at a time when too many people are hurting badly, and thigs are getting worse quickly.

I wouldn`t wish worse times for anybody, but I hope people care more in general than that kind of attitude.

^ And in a facist leaning state, the tendancy is to push everything into black and white extremist thinking, and villanise the side that threatens your power and money. Like the Neocons, and the military / industrial / banking cronies have been doing for decades.

I would fall in the middle. An honest democratic capitalist socialism. A healthy mix of freedom with ballanced social responsibility. There are a few excellent examples in the world, with mostly very happy healthy and realatively wealthy populaces.

This selfish = superior thinking is best for the rich and powerfull, since they hold (and usually start with) the upper hand. Very self serving. And I think it`s mostly espoused by their ilk. Especially since their spin on social responsibilty means that YOU pay for it, while they rake in the MASSIVE profits, and dodge taxes, and still make out like kings.

I`ll never admire a man who only admits it once the shit hits the fan.

Daschle is not some random dude drifting in from obscurity. His problems were well known, by even the public, prior to his appointment.

Face it, Obama thought the worship would override his obviously controversial appointment. I`ll never even respect that.
