Notice that there are four guys at the bottom, feeding three guys on stage 1, feeding two guys on stage two, feeding two guys working like 1.5 at the top.

How does this not create an overflow?

BTW, agreed on the conveyor idea. Labour must be stupidly cheap for this to happen.

Plus a lil message to all the ppl stating "wouldn`t a pump be better then 30 guys" or "wouldn`t a pulley be better" you guys need to get your heads outta the clouds and smell the dirt!

There`s alot a places in the world tha aint got the shit we take for granted, so people get together use they heads and come out with solutions through adversity that to us in the west seem a bit `dumb, cheap even unneccasery` but the way i look at it if you can come up with a solution when you got little or no resources at all and through adversity you can make something work for you that`s whole lot greater then gettin man to the moon when you unlimited resources, a limitless budget and limitless manpower.

Just think about it! I aint sayin these guys are geniuses or let`s give em a nobel prize but im saying stop thinking everyone in the world is living on a level playing field.

That`s summat i`ve realised on my trip to dese places they aint got the education i got, or the money or even the worldly outlook but the jus as damn clever as me and whole lot hard working too.

^ Nah, I get what your saying... and agree that a concrete pump may be far too expensive or inaccessible. But if they can build a tri-level scaffolding, then they can build a F-ing ramp and a box with with wheels on it.

It`s just plain stupidity. You don`t need to be a physics professor to know that a ramp is easier then a ladder and rolling is easier then lifting + carrying

and especially throwing!!!

Labor cost < Capital yay! Same reason as people in China getting paid to manually chip mortar away from used blocks rather than getting new ones. This is the real way less developed countries catch up.

kamz247 and littlp2000 get how the world works, but some of you, I`m not sure.

A cement pump, a conveyor system? A cement pump is expensive, and even if you could get one where are you going to find the parts when it breaks down? A conveyor system, really?

The 3rd world operates differently. Labor is cheap but finished goods are expensive, so this turns the equation on what`s the most efficient way to get things done on its head.

So they may seem "stupid" doing things they way they do on their side of the equation... but for fun, lets look at how stupid we are on our side: because for us labor is so expensive compared to the price of finished goods we never get things fixed anymore. It`s cheaper to buy a new TV, or watch, or computer, or stereo, etc. instead of fix the one that`s slightly broken. You ever feel silly or wasteful throwing away a product that`s slightly obsolete or barely damaged? How stupid is that?

By the way, concrete: 1 part cement, 2 parts _SAND_, 3 parts gravel.
