It`s time for the discussion to shift in the US. The thieving fucking cunts who run your country (corporate and government) have lost any shred or morsel of humanity they ever might have had. And for decades Americans have celebrated them as heroes, when they have ALWAYS been nothing but the worst and most despicable predators.

I would not wish to see capitalism end, but I have NEVER been able to abide by such extreme greed and total disregard for humanity. Limits on income are the simplest control to enforce. If people cannot benefit without limits, from corruption and greed, they might decide to do something better. I do not believe that it is unbounded greed that underpins the greatness of our society. It is our generosity and intelligence.

I`m glad I can say this annonamously, but I think a nationalised banking system is the only way to stop the free market bleeding out into private offshore accounts.

The people are idiots because they are destroying their one good chance to salvage their futures. They have been given a chance to have a public bailout claiming they could barely survive, then turn around and continue the same excess that put them there while firing the lower-level employees. Beyond that, they are misappropriating government money. While the government may be slow and stupid at times, when the government feels like it`s been screwed, heads will roll.

we had a national banking system at one time. early in our history. jefferson (or around that time frame)or something stopped it because it was basically a corrupt and flawed system.
