Bakshi`s "worst" is a relative statement, considering that most of his work is unwatchable. His 1987 Mighty Mouse series, however, marked the return of satire and actual HUMOR to American animation. We toon fans who saw "Night of the Bat-Bat" or "Don`t Touch that Dial" or "See You in the Funny Papers" when they originally aired on CBS Saturday mornings were laughing till our sides hurt and screaming "YES!!!!! FUNNY CARTOONS AT LAST!!!!!" My artist friends and I would actually call each other during the show and yell, "Are you seeing this?!!!" We grew up under the torture of lifeless crap like Scooby Doo, the Smurfs and He-Man, during a time when there was NOTHING else to watch. That ended with Bakshi`s Mighty Mouse. I, for one, am SO GLAD he did it!

Mighty Mouse was such a fucking prick. Arrogant snot-nosed fucking... shit. He`d just fly in and start wailing on people. Cunt. I wanted to slap him so hard. And Bugs Bunny too. That guy was a smug fuck. And Tweety Pie, bubble headed twat. Nigger would be in a curry in a second.
