That`s definately a form of Karate, kyokushin or similar. It`s easy to spot because the tournament rules forbid punching to the head, but kicks are ok for some reason....go figure. The guy in white is clearly out classed in the skill department, but he puts up a decent effort, right up until the ref does his YGKTFO.

That kick brought tears to my eyes... so beautiful...
I`ve seen a little bit like this on a Wushu tournament a few years ago, a fight between TKD/Jow Jia Kung Fu and 7-Star Praying Mantis KF... the poor mantis practitioner didn`t even get his hands on the TKD dude. Was almost as impressive as this stuff right here ^_^ You know, straight kicks to the face in close-range, really left me baffled.
