Florida Couple Pay $155,000 To Clone The...

A Boca Raton couple who paid $155,000 to clone a deceased pet are feeling the spotlight of national media while helping the puppy adjust to his new family. Sir Lancelot Encore spent his first Florida night in the master bedroom -- along with nine other dogs, various cats and two humans -- oblivious to the sensation he had caused earlier Monday. The 10-week-old golden Labrador retriever is a clone, created in South Korea by a California biotech firm from the DNA of the first Sir Lancelot, the beloved pet of Ed and Nina Otto of Boca Raton.

I dont see what you people have against cloned pets? Is the cloned pet shitting on your carpet? No So whats the big deal, besides the outragious price tag. And just to add, if the cloned pet inherits the same brain chemistry then it very well could act just like the original.

I`m guessing that cloning technology has overcome the accelerated aging hurdle? Anyone remember Dolly the sheep? She was the first ever clone, but died unexpectedly due to her cells rapidly aging.

stop reading too much into sciencefiction
There is no such thing as accelerated aging
and dolly died of lung cancer not conected to cloning
