Hmm...they have the translated version of the trailer on IGN if anyone is interested in watching that.

^^^Completely agree with you kyo121. The battle system looks TOO similar to FF12. It looks like they just added the ability to jump and run faster. All of FF12 bored the hell out of me and its battle system didn`t help at all in my opinion. If I want a "real time" fighting RPG I would play a Tales of *insert title* series rather than FF12...ever.

I on the other hand loved the FF XII combat system

Some of the best things about it were, I got distracted by WOW in the middle of playing it, and 6 months later I was able to resume playing the game much easier than I could previous FF games.

I loved the FF 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 combat systems as well.

Each one through time had been a bit different, and FF XII was not the first `real time` combat system either in the final fantasy games. Several had real time aspects or options to switch them to full real time etc in the games.

I think the best part about the FFXII combat system is I was able to run through older areas, and grind some lower level quests I missed etc very quickly, as opposed to an older system that typically had would have taken longer.
