Nope not American at all. Just an impartial observer who realizes that China is not a good place to be or live. That their government is one of the most evil in the world and that they treat their people like cattle to be brushed aside or used as the government sees fit.

No country is perfect... China has its flaws but I wouldn`t go as far as saying that it has one of the most evil government in the world. They`ve made many changes over the decades (probably not fast enough for some), but they`re trying. Being Chinese, I`d like to mention that the new year is very important to us. It`s like our 4th of July :-P So it kinda stings to read stereotypes like : "Then the government decided to clear the square and 4600 people were killed. Although I share your criticism of our government(maybe not to the same extreme), it`s just bad timing to bash on China on one of our most joyous and spiritual days of our year.

^Yea seriously, why live it up a little once a year because of some ancient tradition, creating tons of smoke which contains no greenhouse gas. I mean, just because fireworks casing is biodegradable and they already have crews planning on cleaning the entire mess doesn`t mean you should allow all this fun. Horrible.

^I don`t like the American government either. And unlike most people I realize that Obama will bring about no real change. However, I find it quite humorous that every time I start criticizing China, someone starts ripping on the United States as if, first I`m American and second like Americas crimes and shortcomings somehow cancels out China`s or gives them license to do the same. No ones talking about the United States and I`ll say it again. I am not American.

Also, the first day of the Chinese new year was yesterday. I posted today. Therefore even if I cared about Chinese new year, its already over. However, saying that there are certain days that you cant criticize people on seems pretty silly to me. Ill take the piss out of Americans anyday, including the 4th of July.
