They look cool. They have an good marketing group. The only thing they really excel at is graphics processing because lets face it, apple is good at making things look better than they really are.

^^Apple excelling at graphics processing is total bullsit. A PC I`ve built from scratch at the same value as one of their MAC PROs gets destroyed by my machine in graphics processing.

I do however plan on buying a macbook because the teachers in my graphic design program all use MACs and converting my Adobe files from PC to MACs do not translate well. Will sell it after I`m done school.

@ Khollest, Sev`s comment was a about abandoning vista for linux. Mac OsX although it may have the same roots a linux is nothing like it, therefor he`s enabling nothing.

Leave Macs alone. They can be used for many things, like: a paper weight, propping up a desk leg, hitting a sibling over the head, letting it overheat and warm your feet on it, and many other useful things.
