A Florida woman was arrested Wednesday after police found cocaine in a tampon tube she said she used as a straw to snort the drug.
Elisha L. Yanulaque, 18, of Fort Pierce was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy patrolling the Sheraton Plaza Park around noon after residents had complained about kids smoking pot and drinking in the park during school hours.
The officer smell marijuana coming from Yanulaque’s vehicle and upon investigation found the white plastic tube with cocaine inside, according to TC Palm.

The teenager told police she used the (hopefully unused) tampon casing as a straw to snort cocaine in the past, but now only smokes pot. She also said she had been addicted to ecstasy and other drugs in the past.
Another teen in the vehicle said he and Yanulaque hang out at the park during school hours. He also was arrested, but charges against him were unclear.
Yanulaque was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of narcotics equipment.
