its bs! a 1/10th of a gram for $7. so by that, 1 gram equals $70. now lets say the person selling it cuts its weight by half meaning they double their product with additives. so if u double the weight and still sell it at $7 a 1/10 of gram thats only $140 u`d make on that gram but u bought it for $360 a gram. not only that pre 9/11 bs, the taliban was the only ones actually destroying opium crops. so fuck heroin and fuck this video`s bs

@ blindfury: when buying the 1/10th format it is already cut. Its the street ready junk.

The `good` stuff, sold to `good` people goes at 360$/g (i.e. buisiness people, artists, etc.) They never mentionned how much resellers pay for it.

When Taliban ruled 90 % of Afghanistan from 1996-2001, it almost totally stamped out poppy cultivation as un-Islamic. The UN`s drug control agency has confirmed this fact. The only remaining source of drug dealing was in the remote northeast of Afghanistan controlled by the Russian and Iranian-backed Northern Alliance, made up of Tajik Panshiri tribesmen, brutal Uzbek warlord Rashid Dostam, and the remains of the old Afghan Communist Party.

In 2001, the US overthrew Taliban and put the drug-dealing Northern Alliance and Communists in power. Since then, Afghanistan`s drug production has spread across the nation and exports have soared by 60-70 %, making Afghanistan the source of nearly all the world`s supply of heroin.

Canadian military officials have recently said they might start going after the drug trade in Afghanistan this year.
That is worrisome as this video pointed out. The farmers grow the crops because it is a much quicker profit in a poor country. Destroying the livelihood of the farmers without having a solid plan for implementing another means of living is sure to turn more people against us.
