For those that don`t know how this works.

A flock of birds act in pretty much harmony becuase they pay attention to the bird next to themselves, if it flies right you fly right, if it takes of, you take of.

So. The laser pointer hits one of the birds in the flock who is of course startled by it, pretty much any sudden noise, movement or flash scares birds, the bird that gets hit goes "OMFG! WE`RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!", sending shockwaves of OMFG which causes them all to lift at the same time.

Pretty awesome find I`d like to add. I`ve always wondered how people found these things out. I mean do they just sit around pointing a laser around?
