Classic track from 1981. "Kool & the Gang are a highly successful American jazz/R&B/soul/funk/disco group. They originally formed in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1964." This song was actually released in Oct 1980, but reached No 1. in Feb 1981 in the U.S. (I'm going to have this song played at my funeral.)

i love how back in the day you could honestly sing about anything good in life, didn`t have to be about hoes, parties, jewelery and other bs. Music today is just not as bright and optimistic as the past it seems some days
