This game looks fun but i think im going to stick to my sports games. i can never see myself playing this online against someone else it would be way to hard for me lol

I don`t really like strategy games, in fact I abhor them but the Total War series will get you hooked no matter what your preferences are. Most rts`s puts a very thick line between the user and the game and it really does a poor job of making you feel like part of it while the Total War series completely emerges the player with the storyline and gameplay making the whole battle count on the ability of the user and not just on some stats... it`s like an army general simulator... oh the awesomeness

total war give me a hard on. my only problem with it is all of the frame rate issues ive had when fighting larger battles. i want to run an elephant through a whole battalion without it being all choppy

Steam has had its issues in the past, but its coming along quite nicely now. I`m not sure what they mean by "using Steam for multilayer customization", Steam is just a platform to run the game off of, they don`t have anything to do with the games themselves. I`ll have to look into it some more. Anyways, the Total War series is pretty solid and looks like it will have a place in next-gen rts`s. I`ll be trying this one out for sure.

i would upgrade. but i have real world problems like paying rent and buying food while taking 20hours of classes and working that prevent me from throwing extra money into my computer. also, my computer is perfectly fine. it might be a bit old but my geforce 6800gt was more than adequate when i played total war back in the day

play old games if your computer cant handle new ones
