Am I the only one who thinks the "rag doll" physics look like total crap? You kill someone and they fall back between their own legs like a limbo champion. Shoot someone and watch as they flail their limbs in a whirling tornado of OVERKILL. Last time i punched someone they started bleeding and trying to punch back... they didn`t fly against the wall and then tumble down the stairs like their limbs were all unsocketed.

That`s my monthly rant. Have at me fanboy trolls.

Edit: on second glance this looks better, but animations (this coming from someone who does animation) like the one in the final frame where he bends backwards after death so far from naturally, really bother me. They don`t place the correct limitations on the limb movements. I loved the original Killzone, i thought it was very fun, I`m sure this one is fun as well, i`m just trying to point out that they`ve put less work into great games in the past few years, they crank out shit faster and faster in the attempt to make an extra buck.
We`ll examine this compared to f.e.a.r. 2 when that releases.
Sony Corp has been constantly known for pushing games to be released far before they`re ready.

I played a TON of fpses over the past few years and this is the first time I`ve seen such amazing animations. The only FPS I can think of with good rag doll animations is FEAR and even that looks childs play compared to KZ2...

I dislike playing FPSes on consoles but this is one game I HAVE to get. And if you like fpses, so should you... beta was just amazing

Nice looking game.

One thing I dont understand about gravity and impact force in games?, why is it when people are shot on flat ground the impact pushes them backwards but when people are shot standing on a ledge the impact pulls them forwards and makes them fall off the ledge?

This is not straight up ragdoll, its death animations that are blended into a ragdoll. I like the fact that you actually cast a shadow in this game...

I am so glad I agot a ps3, if you preorder the game DIRECTLY at gamestop you get a rave card and can play the demo right now! So I would suggest anyone who is seriously considering buying this game to do so at gamestop and play it now.
