i`m a black person and black panther was there`s to help us for our rights, but today we don`t need that anymore, that will only bring more hate and white power will rise again and stronger.in my book 90% of the racist are over 50 years old. the younger generation don`t care about racist anymore and where im from if your under 35 you will rarely hear a racist comment founded on hate. not some white guy call you nigger cuz he`s piss..that doesn`t mean his racist, im talking about the ones who live and hate them for real cuz of there color.anyway thats a stupid idea and make us come bak 40 to 50 yrs behind

Hahahaha, as if the flag is all that important. It`s naught but symbol. And burning it to show hatred for the government is not worth face smashing over. Nationalism in general is a tool of the elite to hold you in place. Not until you learn that Humans come first, nations after, will you be free of the shackles of the elite. The more ferver you put into loving your nation at the cost of your freedom the more rights you willingly give up.

Agreed. They make a few good points, particularly about the government walking all over us. Not just blacks, though. I think I would fault them on that over anything else.

Money doesn`t give a fuck about your skin color. Everyone has money issues, white, black, purple, what-fucking-ever. You can complain about about white people all you want, but nothing will change because that`s not what`s at stake.

It`s cash. Always has been cash.

Slavery in America is about money and economics.

Only a tiny, tiny percentage of people in the US hold the vast majority of cash. Sure, they`re mostly white people but go figure, white people established their white government here and then brought blacks. The issue isn`t `cause they`re white because white people are poor too. I live on the border of Mexico and I see a lot of poor hispanics. But I also see a lot of rich ones too. I see poor whites and rich whites.

Problem is you have some humans hogging more resources than the rest... and people like the "New Black Panthers" are totally missing the real enemy.

The reason they were considered as 3/5 of a person was because there were many more black slaves in the country at the time. Very few of which were educated, being slaves it was considered illegal to educate them. what would have happened if they were all considered as a full person? The whites at the time were more educated at the time (which really wasn`t much unless you were a wealthy land owner, but it was a lot more than a slave would have been educated). They understood economics, diplomacy, and the consequences of each decision they would make.

Now, I in no way am saying that blacks are stupid, so lets get that straight right away. There were several very intelligent black individuals at the time, namely Frederick Douglas, who was a hero in many ways that fought for the freedom of slaves. But even HE knew that we needed to take a step at a time and that eventually (with freedom) former slaves, or descendants of slaves would eventually be educated enough to take part in the governing of this country. He knew not to over reach too quickly.

Blacks have come a long way since then. They have struggled, yes. But they have accomplished so much. I don`t think it is fair for this new black panther party to cheapen the struggle their forebears went through just because they don`t think it is enough or that they aren`t better than the whites now.

Now, enough of an educated rant.

Ugh, it`s these kinds of bigot`s that give black people a bad image and fuel any racism that is directed at them.

I`m white, and personally I am quite happy with, and am friends with black people who lead a respectable life, work hard and aren`t part of any culture that is racist towards white people (I.E. Black Panthers, Rap culture (or whatever the hell you want to call baggy clothes wearing lowlife`s that seem intent or destroying today`s youth).

I`m not saying that what our ancestors did was right or forgivable but the bottom line is that it was our ANCESTORS, black people have all the rights that white people do now. If these "Black Panthers" don`t like it so much then they should track down where their families originated from and go back there. I`m sure they`d love the economical and social stability in their mother lands, it`s BOUND to be better than that of the USA (or the UK, for here), what with our terrible living conditions that they`re suffering so hard in (/end sarcasm).

Bottom line: stop bitching and harboring a cycle of hatret and maybe racism will finally fade out, ffs.
