yeah.... Prototype is gonna rock. GTA meets every single superhero/supervillain-esque game you`ve ever played.... with a little bit of Assassins Creed thrown in for good measure.

libertarianriots: yeah... you`d expect it to be more realistic if you`re just going by the title of the video. If you actually looked up the game, you`d know that other than the city (which if i remember correctly is based quite accurately on New York City), they basically went for a "Maybe this could happen" situation.

concept is old, over used, and plane lame. Looks so pointless. If it`s not a super hero its a cyborg. If its not one of them 2 its either some freak on drugs or at least give em` a skate board and we can pretend he`s Tony Hawk at least because pro skater is real I tell ya ITS REAL !

I think you just killed this game for most people by picking the most boring game-play clip possible.

Also, the sound effects and voice work is terrible.

you totaly right, this is all about profit. Games, movies , TV even music has to fit into a standard group for it to be safe, if it is not safe (meaning it might not make profit) it doesnt get made.

so this means that anything truly innovative wont get made because it wont fit into the pre existing "mould", this is why all movies are pretty much the same storys we`v had for ten years with updated effects and slight variations, all games are pretty much the same game set in different times, and to mix things up you have the awsome variety of 3rd person or first person and then for even more variety you have magic or technology, that pretty much covers every "next gen" game ever made! (with the exception of RTS, which has always been kinda "samey" anyway!)

True there is the odd gem here and there, but profits come first, so if it looks good, the suits probably wont like it, and we`ll never see it!
