I saw an interview with an American reporter that was supposed to be going into Gaza yesterday, but the Israelis canceled the trip, and they told them it was because they wanted to control what news came out of Gaza.

hamas controls all information coming out of gaza. you think hamas would actually let reporters broadcast unfiltered footage out of gaza without some kind of spin?

it happened in lebanon two years back too, foreign reporters were assaulted and expelled by hezbollah if they tried to ditch their handlers.

Ah so when every other country in the world releases `accurate` footage of the wars they`re in (wow what HEROES we have fighting for us in Iraq!! they never even die!), everything is ok because it`s `covered`- or better yet when `non-biased` third parties release THEIR footage. I personally (I`m sure my name will cause some pleasant comments) do not support Israel in this, nor much in general for that matter; but I am IMPRESSED that they care more about the military action itself than the media spin to represent it. Much rather hear `we are not going to toy with you, nor let others toy with us,` as oppose to `LOOK HOW PEACHY EVERYTHING IS!` That area is so rife with political and racial biases how on EARTH would ANY of the news footage be accurate and devoid of spin. Every single nation has some sort of agenda concerning that small god-forsaken piece of land, any video coverage at this point in time would only cause more confusion; ah kinda like what we`re seeing with the videos that HAVE been `leaked.`

My foolproof solution? Give the land to the fuckin Eskimos and be done with this nonsense.
