Saw this last week - couldn`t help be choked up by the last few moments of the film. Good to see Rourke can still rock the shit out of a movie.

Wasn`t it obvious when he grabbed his arm like that? He`s having a heart attack. He wakes up in hospital and gets told he needs an operation and his wrestling days are through.

I liked the film but let`s face it, it`s just a wrestling version of Rocky. Not exactly original.

Rourke isn`t that great an actor either, he`s certainly not good enough to be the Joker, his range isn`t very deep at all, every part he has played seems to be not that far from his own character so I wouldn`t go overboard and start calling him the greatest actor ever.
