^ Just came off my motorbike and my jacket sleeve slid up while sliding 50km/h along the road. Arm got messed up bad, thankfully I went off the side of the road before it got any worse but the downside was that I then went 10 metres down a cliff to be found tangled in a tree with a broken femur... but basically while I was unconcious for the surgery putting a rod in my leg, they had like a dremel thing with wire brushing. It spins around and scrapes everything off till it`s all smooth. As a result it healed in a few days with no scar esxcept for the spot on my elbow where they pulled a twig out, that part`s still healing though. Basically buffs yer skin like a circular sander.

This is what it looked like afterwards, very neat:

You know what really breaks my heart? Not that fact that these kids hurt themselves but the fact that these poor parents have to now take these kids to the hospital after a break or dislocation and pay, for their kid`s brainless caused injuries, out of their hard earned money. Skaters or what ever without proper head gear on, clothing or pads are just inconsiderate morons.
