I wonder what he said to the crewmen? When he climbed up on top of that tank I spoke out "I`ve never seen this part before!" and it brought other people to my computer to watch. We all stared in amazement as he looked for portholes and windows to talk to the crewmen, shouting who knows what else.. and one even got out. I wonder what he said...

^ Ouch. I prefer to think of it as a form of nobel suicide, with an ultimate message. "I choose not to live in this world, I would rather die, than accept what you have done."

Either way, you`re right though. We need more brave souls and fewer sheeple. And the excersise of bravery is very often counterproductive to that end. So I propose that all you good women have a child by some unkown brave man (not just some agressive prick either, pick a real good one and take pity for our future).

A couple of things bug me about the tank man film. Firstly, it seems suspiciously convenient that this incredibly rare, unexpected event just happened to be filmed in its entirety, and that film somehow escaped the clutches of the government (now unambiguously confirmed as totalitarian.) Secondly, it`s an army of tanks that had just come from an unprovoked massacre of thousands of innocent citizens. It`s obvious that the guy is just a citizen (anyone else want to explain the bags he`s holding?) so why the hell wouldn`t they just roll over the guy without a second`s thought? Surely everyone in that tank knew that whatever happened, this guy was going to get viciously murdered for his insolence, so if you`re obeying orders, you`re going to just mow him the fuck down. Why didn`t they? It`s almost as if they knew they were being filmed. It`s almost as if they were trying to manufacture a folk lore hero to tilt history in favour of the brave and noble Chinese citizens, just enough to prevent another one of those bothersome little revolutions.

In case you haven`t guessed by now, what I`m trying to say is... um...

It natural for people who have all the basic comforts food, shelter, water, freedom to not believe such horrible things exist in the world. Much like people back in 1930-1940s didn`t believe how cruel Hitler was until there is physical evidence. But the crimes of communism world wide is much worst and the has the #1 death toll by a government. It not about feeling sad ruining your day...but about seeing how everyone who has has to means to help in a big or small way someone else in need. The world has have the potential to bring accountability to dictatorship governments and to end hunger worldwide...but sadly it not nothing personal, it`s just not good business (Pirates of Caribbean movie).

When you go to fancy malls and buy stuff you`re deattached from the actual sweat labor or unfair trade agreements much like company executives are de-attached in their yachts and private jets when they lobby congress and sign off sub-contracts that they know are too good to be true.

I wonder what did happen to this guy. Would be interesting to find out for sure. Hope he is doing fine but understandable to assume the worst.
