It`s not about the religion, it`s about the money scam. They don`t care about the creed itself, they`re pissed about what the cult does to people, willingly.
Charging every penny they have, consuming their everyday life, cutting connections among families and pretty much destroying the lives of those who dare to step out and/or fight the "church".

But since US law, in contrast to, I guess, every other country on earth, still accounts Scn as "religion" (while it has more than enough aspects of an enterprise) so they still don`t have to pay taxes...
Well... I don`t think they should be left alone.

Somber... all religeons are money scams.. really they are power scams but money is a great source of power so there you have it.

The scientology stuff is funny tho..

I wondered about Anonymous a little like... are they apart of other religeons in some or alot of cases? Are they just targeting scientology because they think their faith is the right one or something?

I dunno.. you gotta wonder about these things.

Boldfart and others who say religion are scams: it`s human nature.

As long as humans exist, religion will exist. You will retort by saying that one day they will be gone but that is ridiculous. Religion has been around before history was ever written down and it will survive until the last human falls to the ground. Whereas you, the Internet, Spikedhumor.com and everything we know will perish within a matter of an eon (maybe two), religion will survive. Christianity has been going for 2000 years, Hinduism is so old that it has no agreed-upon beginning, Judaism is relatively "young" and it may well be over 10,000 years old; if they`ve survived this long what makes you think they`ll dry up and die now?

Actually, my core statement was that Scn is perceived as an enterprise and even fulfills various criteria to be called as such and yet is treated by the (U.S.) government as a tax-exempted (is that the correct expression?) religion/organization.
Point being: It`s a cult by definition and a very dangerous one at that.
I personally would have many other ideas of organizations which Anon ought to go after, but Scn could even be a good start.

However, there is a difference between cults and religions. I don`t think religion is a good thing by itself, but since many religions actually do help various individuals, there`s worse - like cults, disguising themselves as (beneficial) religion and even being treated as such.
