Here in Quebec where its always snow covered ice you need spikes. Chains are for the hillbillies or anywhere that the roads aren`t plowed.

ya i think chains are illegal in Canada i know that truckers use them on logging roads and stuff but as soon as they hit any major roads or highways they have to take them off

Chains would be your worst option! You would get up THIS hill, then get on the cement and slide around as if it were ice. Just don`t spin your tires like a moron, and get some good all-seasons or better yet (as mentioned above) some winter tires... For winter.

The video+song=5 the comment about chains in the description = -1, studded tires, maybe, but here in ontario, even they are illegal.
