If you want to see some mighty fine big wave riding check out the movie "In God`s Hands" (which stars Shane Dorian). It`s got amazing surf footage and is a masterpiece of cinematography (it`s one of the most beautifully shot films I`ve ever come across).

that must have been more than 20 kmph! surely 40-50 kmph or so...
and I think it was rather the shaolin face-to-water-plant-style more than the ninja-star-style at the end... but one way or the other... NO letdown!

i wish we got those huge ass waves here on Oahu.. maybe over at jaws on maui, but not here. I don`t surf, I kitesurf, but love watching them do their thing.
