Its a small vice.
12 string kinda looks like a stubby lil chode. Finger tapping gets old tho, the effects just keeps your attention for another 30 seconds

that`s not really that hard, he just seems to be playing the same pattern throughout, also from 1:58 until the end he is just playing with one finger, which isn`t hard at all

yea, those tappy-type guitarists are kind of annoying.

on guitar its just "meh." on bass it would probably be better. I just find it boring.

and those things on the strings are like capos, but for 1 string. he probably just screws it right into the fretboard.

he was using a regular clamp from the hardware store on one of the songs.

its too gimmicky imho

to some, this form of playing is annoying. to others, it`s amazing. however complex or simple it may be, the point to playing music is to play what you feel, and play how you feel. enjoying what you do makes it worthwhile. people like this guy, and paco de lucia, and john butler, and ronald jenkees, and anyone else you see playing with so much passion should be looked up to. not everyone can find the amount of enjoyment in their work as these guys
