Feb 27th 2009 - Place This Day in Your C...

KillZone 2 Worldwide release date - really looking forward to this game. Exclusive to the PS3, i know someone who was heavily involved in the trials for this game and even this shows promise to be bigger and badder than than the competition.

Not speaking as a fanboy as I`ve owned all three systems (save for the ps3 cause I sold it *sigh* damn you blu-ray for winning X3). But the graphics and enviroments seem rather bland to me. It doesn`t really have any kind of "stand out" art that shows a spark of originality, it just looks like a clone of most other fps out there with a few added kicks. The ps3 has yet to live up to it`s hype other than having been a cheap blu-ray player; cheaper to get a stand alone player if you don`t care the ps3 library. Though to be honest, consoles still suck to pc`s >.> pfft, g0w2 amazes the world with 5v5? Please >.>

Angelus_Errare_Wolffe - you`ve seen a few minutes of footage, enough to make a judgement on bland colours?.... probably not eh?

I`ve seen a lot of colour in this game and the graphics are awesome - trust me. The game is very dark - afterall, you`re not playing a happy game full of rainbows... it`s meant to be dark. Go to a warzone for instance Iraq and see how many nice shades of pink and magenta are on their walls and surfaces.

And I assume you`re a 360 fanboy? I bet you love gears of war 2 right? Well.... coming from someone else with multiple systems I can tell you this is 10x better and realistic and this judgement comes from just the trial demos... imagine the full game!

i love how sequels to shitty games always manage to get so much hype. the first game wasnt anything incredible(if anything i thought it was dissapointing), you really think their just gunna pull something amazing out of there ass for this one?....

h3adfuk: The problem is not the exact style. It`s the trend that the only way to make a "realistic"(...) game these days simply prohibits the use of any primary color, you have to make all the building sandyellow or gray, the interior brown and black with hardly any lighting, create some random "cool" weapons, slap some space armor on the main character, make the plot something about some evil three-letter-acronym corporation or hulk alien race attacking. If the game has for example red, blue or green in it, it`s instantly disregarded as "unrealistic" or just plain gay. Basically make it "grim `n` gritty" and it`ll be a good game, just like every other game.

I can bet you a million bucks that this game will be nothing special as far as gaming experiences go.

Also GoW 2 was fun, but it was about as creative as having sex with your married spouse in your own bed in your own bedroom with the lights turned before sleeping.

Whenever they show these fuckin` videos they pick some douche that has no idea how to play a god damn FPS.

I can`t count how many times I`ve played a game and realized I play better than the dumbass they recorded.

I personally liked Killzone, for all its downfalls. Playing as the ninja assassin was hella fun
