I don`t know if I would want these people to be the sole force responsible for keeping the government in check. For fuck sakes the first armed confrontation in a revolution would leave thousands of dead civilians in the wake, because these imbeciles lack the hand eye co-ordination to aim at a large vehicle, instead of 100 feet behind and to the right of it.

I dont get this notion that cuz you can have a gun legally, your free and none of your rights are violated?

It doesnt matter if you have a gun, it doesnt affect any politician when they decide what laws to make.

Didn`t you read the title? We`re Americans! Our biggest enemy is ourselves! In fact, there was an entire battle in WWII somewhere in Alaska where the US stormed a Japanese-held island. Something like 200+ US troops died.

However, the island was empty, the Japanese had abandoned it long before... not a single enemy solider remained...

@ the argument below, I was referring to the Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska, not the mainland itself...
