Some months ago, Activision dropped it, then, Atari picked it up and now they released this new trailer. Hope the game doesn`t suck.

Epic! Your right Violetninja420 but you can look for some and it looks pretty fun. Everybody came in to do the voices again, even the voice for slimer. Everybody that is, except for Rick Moranis. They tried to get him to do it and he litteraly said that he did so well doing the "Honey I shrank, grew, sold, the kids" line that he did not need the money and therefore did not want to do it.

I have watched this film 129 times. I`m not fuckin` around here either. People say `oh man I must have watched that film 1000 times` - bollocks. More like, say, 12 times, beginning to end. I kept a count from when I saw this 5 years old at the cinema - 129 times and counting. Masterpiece.

When you think about it, I must have spent a few weeks of my life watching this film by now.

No, it`s going to suck.

How do I know? Because it`s a game made of a movie. Unless they manage to break every single magical barrier that the norse gods has set up to prevent these two mediums from merging, it`s going to be okay, at best, as a normal experience. However you`ll be under the magic spell of video game hyping that you`ll go "Meh..."

i can see this being especially fun on wii for gameplay. sucks that they didnt show any gameplay in the trailer though.

If this game turns out to be good I will be dissaponted, games based on movies are supposed to suck and when I buy it I will be expecting it to suck, if it turns out to be good it will spoil my expectations making the game suck even more.

So what? I hope they make a great game, with many levels to go through than just the two movies adaptation. Lots of monsters with upgrades and stuff every level, or even an adventure mode, where you could get more stuff and experience. Or even a mutliplayer mode, obviously, with more complex missions. Making special weapons of technology you can test field, adding flexibility to the game and the opportunity to add new spins like "Ghostbusters in space" and things like "Busting ghosts and killing zombies"... imagine what a proton gun would do to a zombie. And then the ultimate expansion: Ghostbusters Mercenaries... which you could either be a Ghost or a Human... and some species of aliens, robots or cybernetic hybrids, even those versions in ghosts, even robots with AI-Ghosts and AI-ghostships. And also why not, a half ghost-livingthing-machine hybrid, even interbreeding and genetics labs and training facilities, where you could make an alien-dinosaur-ghost ninja who keeps trying to learn how to walk up a wall without going through it because his gun didn`t get an AI implant and died.

What? Did I go to far? In Metroid there was an alien ghost who posseded a ship`s energy, why can`t I create a different type of ghost with artificial inteligence consciusnes eh? This are ghosts and proton guns, you need to fight the ghost of GOD by turning the whole universe into protons and throwing him into the black holes!
