He also said it was his last video game he worked on. Ha ha. I was a tester for Atari that was brought on for that game. It sucked so hard core.

his message was nice but I hated the dorky video. But I have often though about that what will video games look like and will they get so good we won`t unplug

Again--big ol` Lib and gamer here, but TED has turned into too much of a Woodstock-"Hey, check out what my mind has been groovin` on lately" sort of thing--at least for my taste.

Entertainment will take care of itself. Switch that for Economics, and they would commit a greater good.

Well if I was an economist then I would be looking out for the video games industry, cause it will get bigger and better in the future..creating thousands of jobs. People go to the best colleges in America to study economics and still don`t know what their doing.

^ That`s my whole point. Entertainment (video games included) generally does well in hard financial times. But on economics, we shouldn`t just throw up our hands because we made mistakes, and everyone involved went to school. The whole point of TED is to inspire people from different fields to think beyond what they learned in college--to cross-pollinate the matrix of ideas, and inspire innovation.

So I`m saying we need that kind of inspiration in economics badly right now. And that inspiration could come from video games, or a scientist who studies dolphin communication. Maybe I should have suggested they call it TEED instead. Makes sense on two levels.
