Michael Moore`s job is to keep this left/right paradigm going, just as Religion does as well. People have stopped thinking for themselves, because if they did they would have NO problem with hearing other point`s of views. The problem is they are afraid, and told to be afraid, by Church/Gov`t/Media/etc.. This is the problem, because if people really looked at thing`s they would realize it`s, `ALL` Bullshit...And after you realize that you can have free thought, then and only then will you have a truely `Free` mind. Then you can use it to cut through all the bullshit propaganda, and have your own thought`s and opinions, and not just follow a mindless mob mentality...

While I agree with your ideas about free thought, THAT IS EXACTLY what MM is trying to accomplish. He is trying to expose the enemies of free thought. He has been sticking it to the man, consistantly and thouroughly, from day 1.

Your attempt to equate him with some closed minded liberal fanatic is wrong. That`s exactly the sorry argument given by hard core conservatives and religious people about him, and it only describes themselves in truth.

You`re missing his point. Firstly, it`s not `all` bullshit. Assuming all held knowledge and views in all time are just bullshit is just ridiculous.

Secondly, this isn`t about truth or falsehoods. You made the failure of assuming Exploder is even talking about `truth` when in fact he is talking about free thought.

In case you didn`t know, "free thought" is not truth or falsification, it`s just an uninhibited medium of thinking and judgment. In the end debating about free thought is inherently part of the idea of free thought. Free thought is about asking questions, not coming to conclusions... because you`re supposed to question your conclusions too.

"True" and "False" take back seat as they`re limiters. Moore doesn`t need to be right or wrong to question things. He`s exercising free thought, taking a new perspective, or sometimes just letting us see something so we can discuss it.

I will fault exploder on flinging the `conservative` word though, as conservatives have just as much right to free thought as liberals. It`s only wrong when free thought is shut down... then nothing happens.

Michael Moore is the very definition of a douche. He does not care about the values presented in his movies, he`s just another guy who joined the bandwagon and made profit from it. This is made obvious from each argument he makes. The idiot never presents his own opinions and beliefs, no, instead he says the opposite and just meticulously picks just the facts that sustain it.

He`s just like a con artist, makes you think he`s on your side by saying he totally agrees without even though he doesn`t know what the hell you`re talking about. His movies aren`t meant to be deep or expose the "truth" or crap like that. They`re exactly like any other campaign propaganda you`ve seen all your life where politicians present THE FACTS and tell you what to think except what Moore does is to present only the facts that contradict what the other person has to say leaving a huge gap in between. In the entertainment industry lots of movies are made that try to encompass the numerous aspects of life but in most cases they`re assigned to people who have no experience with them. This is what`s wrong with Moore`s films, they`re made by a guy who doesn`t really cares about "uncovering the truth"... except only if he benefits from it.

If you have a brain and like to use it then don`t share, use it all for yourself. I know I`ll get buried but for the love of whatever, have some sense for once in your life and consider the fact that you and everybody around you might be wrong about this, if not everything.

I 100% agree with Michael Moore`s filmmaking existance to promote "free thinking".

There was a website dedicated towards bashing MM because there are info in his documentaries which might have mislead the viewers. He stopped updating the website because his wife had some sort of cancer.

MM donated $50,000 for surgery operations to the guy who maintained the website because this is EXACTLY what MM wants people to do. Think for yourself, criticize, analyze and stop letting the media spoon-feed information to you.
